Hello, my name is Jake Haman. I was currently on the wait list for this class and I recently got in! I don't know how excited that I am seeing as creative writing in High School was my nightmare. I am in and ready for the challenge though.

I have been in the Marine Corps for 5 years now and the reason I am taking this class is because it is a pre requisite for the MECEP program which is going enlisted to officer. This is my first semester in college and my first class since High School. Although a little nervous, I am looking forward to it.

I have been married for a little over four years to my wife Emily. I also have two sisters, two nieces and two nephews. I love my family and wish I was closer to them.
They currently live in Wisconsin and I am stationed in California.

That's all for now. I look forward to being in this class with all of you and I will be the one probably asking thousands of question a day.
